This Privacy Policy explains how the Ava's Sweet 16 invitation website ("the Site," "we," "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you respond to an invitation. This Site and its SMS program are operated by ITmeNOW LLC. This Site is a private invitation for a single family event and is not a commercial service.

Information we collect

We collect only what you provide when you respond to your invitation:

Name, so we know who is attending.
Email address, to send your RSVP confirmation, sign-in links, and event updates.
Phone number, used only if you choose to receive text-message updates (see "Text messages" below).
RSVP details you choose to share, such as attendance, dietary restrictions, a song request, and a note to the honoree.
Media you upload, such as photos shared through the guest portal.

We do not collect payment information, and we do not track your location.

How we use your information

We use your information solely to run this event:

To send invitations, RSVP confirmations, and sign-in links.
To send important updates about the event (date, time, venue, or logistics).
To send text-message updates, only if you have opted in.
To display content you choose to share in the guest portal.

We do not sell, rent, or share your information for advertising, and we do not use it for any purpose unrelated to this event.

Text messages (SMS)

Text messaging is optional. You opt in by checking the SMS consent box on the RSVP form. If you opt in:

You may receive occasional event updates and notifications. Message frequency varies.
Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. You can request help by replying HELP.
Opting out of text messages does not affect your RSVP or any email updates.

Mobile information and consent to receive text messages are never shared with third parties for marketing purposes. We use a messaging provider solely to deliver the messages you have agreed to receive. SMS messages are sent on behalf of ITmeNOW LLC.

Service providers

We use a small number of trusted providers to operate the Site. They process information only to provide their service to us and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes:

Hosting and database: Supabase and Vercel.
Email delivery: Resend.
Text-message delivery: Sinch (only if you opt in to SMS).

How long we keep your information

We keep your information only as long as needed to run the event and for a reasonable period afterward, then delete it. You may ask us to delete your information sooner (see "Your choices and contact" below).

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including access controls and encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but access to guest information is restricted to the event hosts.

Children's privacy

This event involves guests who may be minors. Information about a minor guest is provided by the guest or their parent or guardian for the sole purpose of attending the event, and is handled with the same care described in this policy. If you are a parent or guardian and have questions about your child's information, contact us using the details below.

Your choices and contact

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information at any time. To make a request, or for any privacy question, contact:
